Soften does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, therapy, or crisis support. It is not a medical device and is not a substitute for professional care.
We collect only limited information needed to operate and support the app.

Soften does not collect data from Health Connect, Google Fit, or any other health platform. We do not collect clinical health records, medical diagnoses, therapy notes, biometric data, or data from medical devices. The app does not request any health-related permissions.
Soften is intended for general wellness and self-care only. It does not evaluate, diagnose, treat, prevent, or monitor any disease, condition, or mental health disorder.

Soften does not use third-party advertising SDKs. Soften does not sell your personal information. Soften does not track you across apps and websites owned by other companies for advertising purposes.
Feedback and support information is retained for up to 12 months after resolution of your request, after which it is permanently deleted. If your request does not lead to an ongoing support conversation, the associated data is deleted within 30 days.
On-device information — including custom task data, playback history, and cached audio and image files — remains on your device until you take one of the following actions:
Cached audio and image files are automatically removed when they are no longer needed or when the app's cache is cleared. Playback history and playback progress remain until you clear them through in-app controls or delete the app.
Depending on your location, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, or restriction of personal information we hold about you.

Soften is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, please contact us so we can delete it.

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information from unauthorized access, loss, misuse, or disclosure. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. For material changes, we will provide advance notice through the app at least 7 days before the new policy takes effect. We will update the effective date shown above and retain a dated archive of the previous version, which you may request by contacting us.
